VICTORY !

Democrats and liberals will celebrate election victories in Fallbrook

(A message from Joe Crews, president of the Fallbrook Democratic Club)

A giant red tidal wave is sweeping across the nation toward California, but when it strikes our borders on Nov . 2, it will crash into an impenetrable solid BLUE WALL. California will have saved its people from the TEA party madness which seems destined to devastate lands to the east of us. But California will survive this red tsunami and remain the Nation's high ground for progressivism and hope. Together we will begin the restoration of civility, vision and the fight for the common good. Together California will again show the nation the way to the future.

Victory celebration:

For this we Democrats will gather in Fallbrook two days after our election victories to celebrate with a party on Thursday, Nov. 4 at FPUD, at 6:30 pm. (This is earlier than our usual time). We have invited one of our most prominent California Democratic leaders, Fiona Ma of San Francisco, who will fly down to celebrate with us. Fiona is the Speaker Pro Tem in the Assembly in Sacramento. A woman of vision and keen legislative skill, she can share with us the magnitude of our victories and of our future in California.

I speak these words of optimism with tempered rationality, because I really believe California remains the land of hope, dreams, innovation and determination.

After Fiona Ma speaks, she will celebrate with us. We are very grateful for her coming down to Fallbrook. We will pass the bucket for contribution to help Fiona in her campaign for us.

You are cordially invited:

All Democrats and liberals are invited to join the celebration.

Bring a cake or bring your favorite pastry; bring your healthy nibbly or crunchy. Bring some small bottles of water or juice. Bring a balloon or party decoration. Got a good poster? Bring it. And prepare your own toast to victory!

But most importantly, bring a friend or neighbor.

If you have an idea for the celebration, call me: 760 703-2008.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it.
