DEMCCO Talks-Return of Progressive Radio in SD?

Hi Folks: Ever wonder why a Blue County has such Red Radio? Find out at the next meeting of the Democratic Club of Carlsbad-Oceanside, Sat., Oct. 24th, 10 a.m.-noon, Woman’s Club of Carlsbad, 3320 Monroe St., Carlsbad.

Sal Magallanez, Liberty One Media’s General Manager, will talk about their progressive radio enterprise which will launch and come into San Diego’s airways early 2010. Conglomerate-owned KLSD, which we enjoyed for too short a period, gave way to a Sports Talk format in 2006, which I for one have little interest in. How is Liberty One Radio going to prosper in this area of hostile airways controlled by a Deep Red corporate structure? We’ll find out on the 24th.
