Fallbrook Writer Read Presents a Midsummer Night's Reading

Fallbrook's Writers Read, a free monthly gathering of writers and readers, invites the community to a Midsummer Night's Reading on Wednesday 15 July, at 6 p.m., at the Café des Artistes.

The July reading features poets Marte Bröehm and R.D. “Duke” Skaff, followed by open mic.

Bröehm, an educator, visual artist and poet, has been published in The Pedestal Magazine, Perigee, the Magee Park Poetry Anthology and the San Diego Poetry Annual.

Skaff's poems have been published in American Pen Women Winning Poetry and Haiku, Today's Alternative News, the last three editions of the San Diego Poetry Annual and the Magee Park Poetry Anthology.

Writers are encouraged to bring their original poetry, short fiction and creative nonfiction for an evening of reading, a glass of wine, a little supper if they're hungry, and conversation with others who enjoy the written word.

Fallbrook's Writers Read is hosted by the Café des Artistes, at 103 S. Main Street, in Fallbrook. Entrance to the Café is from the rear parking lot behind the Fallbrook Art Center on Main Street. Doors open at 5:30.
