Thursday, May 7th, 5:00 PM, meet Rick Jacobs, founder of the Courage Campaign, and find out how he has used the internet to organize over 700,000 Californians to champion progressive causes. Most notably, the Courage Campaign is working to repeal Prop 8. Fidelity, a video produced by the Courage Campaign to urge the state not to void marriages performed before the November vote, became the most watched online political video in California's history.

Rick will also talk about Camp Courage, an intensive 2-day training designed to teach the principles and skills of community organizing to activists working to restore marriage equality to California. Rick Jacobs chaired Howard Dean's presidential campaign in California and served as Senior Advisor to Democracy for America. He is also the co-founder of Brave New Films, a director of the Liberty Hill Foundation and a featured contributor to HuffingtonPost.com.
