12:00 PM to 3:00 PM CWA Union Hall Local 9511 - 1525 Simpson Way - Escondido We are re-creating the North County Democratic PartyNow that the Democrats have taken power in 2 branches of government I feel that it is critical for all of us to step up to the plate to apply pressure to make sure that President Obama, the US Congress and the Senate do their job. I beleive we have a better chance at good government than we have had in a very long time, but we MUST keep their feet to the fire. That is why I'm running for Democratic Delegate. I want to make sure I'm doing my part. And I have GREAT news for you. Martha Sullivan and Rachel Rott have worked with myself and others to develop an entire SLATE OF PROGRESSIVES who are running as a team. All we need to get elected is your support! Following are some details on the Assembly District Delegate election. First, here's the when and where: Sunday, January 11 Registration: 12:00PM - 2:00 PM Early Voting at 12:00 PM Meeting: 2:00PM CWA Local 9511 1525 Simpson Way Escondido I know that there is a big game that day, but I'm counting on you to come out, vote, and get home for the game if you like. If you are not planning to watch the game, however, you would be very welcome to stay for the offical meeting. The meeting starts at 2:00 PM, and each candidate will have the opportunity to make a one minute speech. A group of us are running together on a progressive slate. Below is a list of the members of the slate. I hope you'll consider voting for our slate. If you do plan to come vote at the caucus (and I really need your vote!), you don't have to remember this list. I'll be there, and we'll be handing out our slate list to make it easy for you. I am offering a much-coveted Obama "Hope" poster, plus we're offering a limited edition Charlie Imes CD (Charlie did the "Worst Presnadent Ever" song and video that's been popular on YouTube). Maybe some other stuff, too. I recommend that, if you are considering coming out to the caucus, you pre-register, using the link below. This will make the voting go much more quickly.
