Free Workshop on Community Coastal Restoration

The workshops will introduce our new guide "Digging In: A Guide to Community Based Habitat Restoration". The guide walks you through each step of a volunteer restoration project – from getting permissions, to collecting seeds, to conducting outreach for your restoration event. The next workshop will be in San Diego County on September 18th. (We are planning future workshops at other coastal locations.) Details below:

Each workshop attendee will receive a copy of "Digging In". We'll introduce the guide and brainstorm key topics in developing restoration projects and engaging the community. A tour of Batiquitos Lagoon’s restoration trail will follow.
