how will you, provide oversight of the County's Chief Administration Officer
and the wide spread County programs?
ANSWER: INCUMBENT DIANNE JACOB
Ms. Jacob did not have the time necessary to complete the questionnaire.
ANSWER: CHALLENGER RUDY REYES
Oversight of the County's Chief Administration Officer and the wide spread
County programs are a major issue in San Diego County. I would like to
work very closely with the County's Chief Administration Officer to know
the real problems in my county. Programs in the county need a county
leader; someone who will personally look into how these programs are
running and listen to the program workers to improve said programs from
the inside.
3. What oversight responsibilities do you believe the Board of Supervisors
should take regarding the conduct of elections in San Diego County?
ANSWER: INCUMBENT DIANNE JACOB
Ms. Jacob did not have the time necessary to complete the questionnaire.
ANSWER: CHALLENGER RUDY REYES
Oversight responsibilities of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors
should include secure, accurate, fair, non-partisan elections. Overseeing
all elections within all of San Diego County, with an unbiased attitude
towards an outcome where every vote counts.
As a member of the Board of Supervisors, I would educate myself to the
elections process and the issues that have been brought to my attention by
the public. I would maintain communication with the community and take
those concerns to the Chief Administrative Officer to get answers to those
concerns.
4. Do you support the County Board of Supervisors recent decision to sue
California's Secretary of State due to her mandating a 10% hand count of
votes when the difference between the candidates or initiatives is ½ of one
percent or less. If yes, why? If not, why not?
ANSWER: INCUMBENT DIANNE JACOB
Ms. Jacob did not have the time necessary to complete the questionnaire.

No, the County Board of Supervisors recent decision to sue California's
Secretary of State due to her mandating a 10% hand count of votes when
the difference between the candidates or initiatives is ½ of one percent or
less; is a ruse to secure an easy re-election to their county seats. They are
in reality suing for less stringent laws in regards to election.

why?
