Law Prof. Marjorie Cohn comes to Escondido

Marjorie Cohn, professor of law at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, is the featured speaker at the club meeting. Dr. Cohn will discuss illegal surveillance, regime change and war crimes by the Bush administration. The meeting is scheduled in the Turrentine Room of the Escondido Public Library. The meeting is open to the public at no charge. Free parking is available.

Dr. Cohn is a news consultant for CBS News, a legal analyst for Court TV and provides legal and political commentary for BBC, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NPR and Pacifica Radio. She is co-author of a book about cameras in the courtroom and has published many articles in law journals, newspapers and web sites. She was recipient of the San Diego Courty Bar Association's 2005 Service to Legal Education Award. She received her bachelor's degree from Stanford University and her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
