Arlington West will come to Fallbrook, Memorial Day, May 29, 2006.
It will set up in Live Oak Park, on Reche Road, at Gird Road
Sponsored by Vets for Peace of San Diego Co, North County Coalition for Peace & Justice.

Arlington West Memorial will be present in Fallbrook - on the edge of Camp
Pendleton in Northern San Diego County.

A new spiritual feature:

Faith Leaders for Peace flfpeace.org, a San Diego group of religious leaders from all faith traditions who work for peace in Iraq. The group includes over 70 Jewish,Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, and Sufi clergy.

At 11:00am they will be giving a memorial service, each in their own tradition. The faith leaders will make a solemn procession into Live Oak Park to the middle of the memorial. Then one by one, each will give a short memorial prayer.

The San Diego Arlington West is the only chapter that still puts out one cross for each soldier's death in Iraq - the other chapters have had to cut off the number of crosses, due to logistical issues, and only symbolically represent each death. We display the entire 2,300+ Crosses, Stars of David, and Crescent Moons - each with the name, age, rank, and branch of service attached.

Live Oak Park is a beautiful county park, with gentle hills, oak trees, and
picnic areas - the address is 2746 Reche Rd Fallbrook, CA 92028.
