Films for Change is a project of the San Diego Peace Resource Center (www.prcsd.org), Progressive North County, and the Palomar UU Fellowship (www.vistauu.org). The Interrupters has won many awards including two for Best Documentary from the Chicago Film Critics Association and the Independent Spirit Award. And the director, Steve James, was awarded as the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentary by the Directors Guild of America, USA.
