6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Social hour is always a wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with many North County liberals and progressives. This year we expect a contingent of wonderful new friends from Orange County (did you know I ran for Congress?), San Diego, and other places because people have heard of Letters Night over the years.
Our new venue in Oceanside holds 500+ people, so everyone who has ever wanted to attend Letters Night will have a chance this year. Please spread the word to liberal and progressive friends, if they donít know, tell them about it. Please RSVP, however, so we have enough food and so we can make name tags in advance. Please bring your friends to this "last ever" Letters Night. Great finger foods will be catered by Hill Street Cafť. Our new venue does not permit alcohol on the premises. There will be a nonalcoholic beverage bar.
Social hour at 6pm ó Program starts at 7pm. $20 person, $10 students, low income.
Letters Night will be held at Grace Chapel of the Coast, 102 N. Freemen Street, in downtown Oceanside. Itís a classic old theater - now a church - and holds 500+ people, so invite every liberal and progressive you know.
Itís on the corner of Freeman St.and Seagaze Dr, across from the old post office, one block east of
Coast Highway and one block south of Mission.
I hope to see you there!
Yours for peace and justice, Dick Eiden
