San Diego Groups

San Diego Veterans For Peace

We are a group of concerned veterans and supporters who feel compelled to do something and speak out at this crucial time in our countries history. As a newly formed chapter, we have already been well received in the San Diego community and plan to make ourselves heard.

Activist San Diego

Activist San Diego has the objective of promoting cyber contact to help progressive activists meet and mobilize with each other in real life. Web communications is a methodology and tactic for promoting social change, not a substitute for it.

Proyecto Guerrero Azteca

Azteca Guerrero project is a website where you will be able to help encourage our youth to pursue a non-militaristic path toward their education. Together, we can teach them that military service is not the best option to finance their studies. We want to promote alternatives to the military for those who simply want the benefits of education without sacrificing their lives. While we agree that service to ones country is an important goal, killing and being killed is not the best way to achieve it in a civilized society.

North County Forum

North County Forum is a diverse group of people who support liberal programs and democratic reform, who believe in science, reason, evolution, equality, tolerance and respect for all living things, and who oppose bigotry, intolerance, greed, corporate excess, xenophobia, social injustice, and the rapacious use of resources.

Progressive Democrats of America - San Diego

Progressive Democrats of America's primary objective is to serve as a liberal, progressive caucus within the Democratic Party.

San Diego Coalition for Peace and Justice

We are composed of people from many progressive organizations, faiths, and political points of view. Since September 11, 2001 the SDCPJ has sponsored teach-ins, vigils, and rallies aimed at opposing the repeal of civil and human rights, and ending the use of military force by the United States.

Orange County Peace Coalition

The sanctity of life and the non-violent resolution of conflict are our guiding principles. We believe that people of all nations have the right, through truly democratic processes, to determine their own destiny, free from military coercion.
