To date, $9619.21 has been donated by the wonderful folks here in San Diego, and our account balance after purchases to date is $99.14.
320 sets of sleeping bags/ponchos/stuff sacks ($35 per set) have been purchased or donated and the last 50 sets were distributed the weekend of Feb. 4-6. For those who have donated, you have made a huge, perhaps life saving, difference in the lives of at least 320 people living on the streets downtown.

This young Egyptian woman, Asmaa Mahfouz, dared put a face to the message, unfazed by the possibility of arrest for her defiance. "Do not be afraid," she said.
