2010 Film Nights at Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park in Carlsbad. Free admission! Film on Sep. 24 is Honolulu Lu, 1941. All films begin at sunset and star Leo Carrillo, an actor most famous for his role as Pancho in the TV show "Cisco Kid" during the 1960s. Carillo was also politically active and an environmentalist way ahead of his time.

Sunset Poets and the Addictions Ministry at Palomar Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hold a poetry reading to celebrate Recovery Month at Palomar UU Fellowship in Vista. Everyone whose life has been touched by addiction should attend. Bring your non-poet friends (if you have any). There will be a featured segment focusing on addiction and recovery, and an open mike.
