Event Reminders: Prevent environmental disaster in North County
A monumental environmental conflict of interest is raging concerning the pristine wilderness area in northeast Fallbrook. Granite Construction, a multi-billion-dollar company, has its intention staked on developing the largest open-pit mine in the USA just over the Riverside County line at the Rainbow connection to highway 15. Free bus rides to the Riverside hearing on June 4 will be provided from Rainbow and Temecula.
Memorial for 5,000 War dead, Sunday, June 7
An Arlington West march and memorial to honor our war dead will be presented Sunday, June 7 at 2:00 pm in Vista. The sad death of over
5,000 killed in action in the two wars occurred on Monday, June 1. The
memorial will be set up in Wildwood Park in Vista.
