Barack Obama and John McCain will make their first joint appearance of the 2008 campaign at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest (Orange Co.) on Aug. 16. Rev. Rick Warren, founder of the mega-church will moderate the event, interviewing each for about one hour separately. Demonstrators from surrounding counties will be in the area.
